The Liver Detox Program:
Cleanse Your Body's Filter and
Watch Your Health Soar

Don't forget your liver! A liver detox program may be the most important thing I suggest on this entire site (however you must cleanse your colon first). Human Biology 101 tells you that the liver filters out toxins and removes them from the body - generally through the colon.

But the chances of your liver being clogged by today's polluted environment are about 150%, unless you've been living as a monk on all organic food, in which case your chances are about 100%.

Did you ever change a clogged air filter? If so, you know that within a month, or even a week, it can get pretty clogged up with particles. Now imagine a liver not being cleansed for decades at a time. You just imagined YOUR LIVER.

The liver has to compete with toxins from the water (chlorine, fluoride, chemicals, prescription drugs), air (industrial smokestacks, car/train/plane fumes), food (preservatives, antibiotics, hormones, chemicals, bacteria, trans fats, heavy metals), chemical deodorants, sunscreens, pesticides, and much more. Our livers simply were not designed for this onslaught of toxins. Does this start to illustrate the importance of a liver detox program?

Going on a liver detox program is extremely important, but you must cleanse the colon first. The reason is that the dislodged toxins from the liver travel through the colon for elimination. If this colon is still clogged, there is no way for the toxins to leave the body and they will be reabsorbed in potentially harmful places.

Here are the main ways you can go on a liver detox program.

1. Take Livatone Plus tablets. These are made by Doctor Sandra Cabot (bestselling author of the Liver Cleansing Diet). After having my liver enzymes spike twice (a bad thing due to antibiotics, which I will likely never use again unless it is an emergency), they normalized in a short amount of time both times due to the Livatone tablets.

2. Coffee Enema. Unlike regular water enemas, these are specifically designed to filter your liver. In a study done, pancreatic cancer patients increased their lifespan from an average of 18 months to 4.5 years by simply doing regular coffee enemas. Read more about coffee enemas here.

3. Liver Cleansing Diet. At the height of my illness, I had not done any natural healing yet. I found out that my bilirubin (liver bile numbers in the bloodstream) were high enough that I was diagnosed with Gilbert's Syndrome. After becoming very, very fatigued, having horrible breath (often a liver symptom), and being very underweight, I found the book "The Liver Cleansing Diet" by Dr. Sandra Cabot, and went on her diet. Within 6 weeks my fatigue was 90% better, my breath was 100% better, and my weight was 20% better. I believe that this book has very healthy recommendations even for people who don't specifically have liver problems.

4. The liver flush. This is the biggie. You can clean out your liver relatively well with the above options, but you probably will still be plagued with liver stones that are stored in the gall bladder. With a liver flush, you use olive oil, epsom salts, and a few other ingredients to flush the stones out of your system. After completing this perhaps a few to several times, along with steps 1-3, your liver should be like new again, and you'll start to experience much better health in nearly every area of your body.
